I'm Jean-Baptiste. I've been a wedding photographer for over ten years, and I run the Jaysphotography studio out of Senlis, in the Oise. Stills photography is my craft and my first reading of the world: the still image guides everything we produce, with film extending the story when the couple wants it.
What I care about are real faces. The hesitation just before a yes, the laugh that breaks a little too loud, a father's hand we hadn't noticed gripping his daughter's. I work in reportage, I stay out of the way, I frame for what the scene actually needs, and I wait. To me, wedding photography is documentary work held to a standard of elegance.
I haven't worked alone for a long time. Depending on the package chosen, Mounir and Peter cover the day with me as second photographers and filmmakers *: we know each other, we read each other, we cover a wedding from several angles without ever getting in each other's way. Cassandra, my wife, runs production and stays in touch with every couple from the first email to the final delivery. And at the studio, our retouching team reviews every image so nothing leaves until it's been properly looked at.
* A second photographer or filmmaker, like the photo + video duo package, are à-la-carte options added to your quote if you choose them. On photo-only or video-only packages, I work solo.
We're based in Senlis and we photograph weddings across France, in Paris and Île-de-France, and abroad when the project is worth it. What I promise is simple: a real eye, a quiet presence, and images that will hold up in ten years as well as in thirty. That's what matters, and that's what I commit to.

Every photo retouched by hand, every film colour-graded frame by frame. No automation, no compromise.
Your images must last fifty years, not follow a seasonal trend.
