How Jaysphotography collects and processes your personal data, in line with GDPR.

Data controller
The controller of your personal data is Mr Jean-Baptiste ARGYRE, Jaysphotography, sole proprietorship, registered office at 38 bis rue des Merles, 60600 Breuil-le-Vert, France. Contact: contact@jaysphotography.fr, +33 6 19 96 31 43. Given the size of the business and the nature of the processing, no Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed.
Data collected
We only collect the information you voluntarily provide via the contact form: first name, last name, email, phone, date and venue of your event, and project description. No browsing data is ever sold.
Legal bases for processing
In accordance with Article 6.1 of the GDPR, processing is based on the following legal grounds: your consent (contact form), pre-contractual measures taken at your request (quotes), performance of the service contract when concluded, compliance with legal obligations (in particular the 10-year accounting retention obligation, Article L.123-22 of the French Commercial Code) and our legitimate interest in ensuring the follow-up of the client relationship and the security of the website.
Use of data
Your data is used exclusively to reply to your quote request and, where relevant, to establish and deliver our service. It is never shared with third parties, except where required by law.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some videos displayed on the site are hosted by Vimeo, part of whose infrastructure is located in the United States. This transfer is governed by the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission and by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework to which Vimeo adheres, ensuring an adequate level of protection. No other transfer of your data outside the European Union is carried out.
Retention period
Unconverted enquiries are kept for a maximum of 12 months. Data linked to a completed booking is kept for the legal accounting retention period (10 years).
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the following rights over your data: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection. To exercise these rights, write to contact@jaysphotography.fr with proof of identity ; we reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr) if you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with the regulation.
Image rights
Photographs and videos published on this site are published with the consent of the people depicted, obtained in the service contract. If you appear in one of the published images and wish it to be removed, write to contact@jaysphotography.fr specifying the page concerned: removal will be performed within a maximum of 30 days from receipt of your request.
No profiling, no third-party tracking
No automated profiling of visitors is carried out. The site does not use Google Analytics, third-party advertising tools or behavioural trackers. The only cookies set are strictly necessary for the operation of the site and, where applicable, to play Vimeo videos if you choose to view them.
