Wedding filmmaker in Senlis

Royal medieval town, heritage chic weddings. Cinematic film, dual 4K cameras, drone, D+5 teaser.

Wedding filmmaker in Senlis, I film your day like a movie — not a recording. The Gothic cathedral and cobblestone old town — one of the finest medieval settings near Paris. 10 min from Chantilly, 45 min from Paris, I cover the area regularly with my full kit (dual 4K cameras, drone, lavalier mics, gimbals).

Cinema approach: emotional storytelling, rhythmic editing, cinematic colour grading. In Senlis, I adapt to each venue's constraints — dim church lighting, harsh outdoor sun, neon evening. My goal: a film you'll want to rewatch 20 years from now.

Drone capture (DJI Mini 3 Pro) wherever permitted. Aerial shots of the venue, procession, first dance — instant cinematic feel for outdoor settings like those in the area (Cathédrale Notre-Dame, Vieille ville médiévale, Jardin du Roy).

Deliverables: 1-2 min teaser within 5 days (D+5), 8-15 min long film in 4 to 8 weeks, short version for social sharing on request. Logistics: 10 min from Chantilly, 45 min from Paris. Photo + video duo coverage with my team available.

The signature venue

Senlis is one of France's best-preserved royal cities: the 12th-century Notre-Dame Cathedral (one of France's first Gothic cathedrals), Gallo-Roman ramparts, cobbled medieval streets in the historic centre and the Jardin du Roy. For wedding film, this density offers three radically different narrative moods within 500 metres — cathedral (4K low-light interior), cobbled streets (handheld gimbal) and garden (drone outside centre). A rare image signature in France. 20 minutes from Chantilly.

Weddings we covered in the area

Seen and lived in Senlis

Ophélie & Vincent Mairie de Senlis · Domaine de Monceau · September 2023

Ophélie and Vincent's wedding in September 2023 — 11-minute long-format film opening on the cobblestones of the Senlis pedestrian street and closing on sunset at the Domaine de Monceau. For couples choosing Senlis, the historical setting requires a different narrative cut: we film the walk through the old town as a stabilised long take (Ronin), not multi-cut. The result respects the venue's identity.

Lina & Cherif Senlis (rues piétonnes) · Château de Pontarmé · August 2022

Lina and Cherif's wedding: video sequence in the pedestrian streets while guests headed to Pontarmé. Drones are not allowed in Senlis centre (NOTAM zone), so everything is done on steadicam and gimbal — exactly the kind of constraint that forces better filming. Handheld moving shots deliver an intimacy that drones cannot reproduce.

Frequently asked questions

Do you use a drone for aerial shots?

Yes — certified pilot, Mavic 3 cinema drone. Aerial shots often open the teaser and complement couple sequences. Subject to venue authorization and weather (wind < 30 km/h).

Can you do photo and video on the same day?

Yes — it's actually our most requested package. Either as a duo (photographer + videographer on site) for visual consistency, or solo with mixed coverage depending on the event scope.

What's your typical coverage duration?

From morning preparations through the first dance on average. Depending on the package, we can wrap at dinner or stay until the end. It's defined upfront based on your timeline.

Can I choose the music for the film?

Yes — you suggest 3-5 tracks you love, we propose an edit that matches the mood. We use legal music licenses (Musicbed, Artlist) so you can publish on YouTube or Vimeo without risk.

How do you capture sound so the vows are clear?

Three parallel audio sources: wireless lavalier on the groom, second handheld wireless for the officiant, and a standalone Zoom recorder as backup. Audio quality is as carefully treated as the image — non-negotiable.
