Senlis is one of France's best-preserved royal cities: the 12th-century Notre-Dame Cathedral (one of France's first Gothic cathedrals), Gallo-Roman ramparts, cobbled medieval streets in the historic centre and the Jardin du Roy. For wedding film, this density offers three radically different narrative moods within 500 metres — cathedral (4K low-light interior), cobbled streets (handheld gimbal) and garden (drone outside centre). With Marion and Jérôme, it all started two months before the wedding, with a session at the Château d'Ermenonville, where they were going to get married: on the day, we already knew the place, and they were already used to the camera. On 22 June 2024, Nisrine and I covered photo and video. They received a seven and a half minute clip, and separately the speeches and the rushes. Next to Senlis, Ermenonville gives a film a château and a park that need no staging.
Lina and Cherif's wedding in October 2023, photo and video with Mounir. While the guests drove to the Château de Pontarmé for the cocktail, we strolled with them through the pedestrian streets of Senlis for their couple session, and we really loved that moment. In those lanes, the best way to film is to walk with the couple: the images keep the rhythm of the stroll and the setting of the old town, with no staging.

What if there's bad weather outdoors?
We always have an indoor plan B set up in advance with you. Light rain still rolls (weather-resistant gear), but the aesthetic changes. We notify you 3 days ahead if the forecast is critical.
What's your typical coverage duration?
From morning preparations through the first dance on average. Depending on the package, we can wrap at dinner or stay until the end. It's defined upfront based on your timeline.
Do you work alone or with an assistant?
For standard weddings, I'm solo with two synchronized cameras. For weddings > 100 guests or multi-venue events, I bring a second videographer so nothing is missed (ceremony + cocktail in parallel).
What's the delivery time for the final film?
30 s to 2 min teaser, often delivered before the film, for quick sharing with guests. 5 to 8 min clip and full 15+ min film: four weeks, one month at most in peak season. You're notified at each stage. Express option: everything is delivered in under a week, with the same quality as the one-month delivery. The only difference is top priority given to your wedding. It depends on the calendar (a very busy date may not allow it): ask before signing and you will get a straight answer.
Do you use a drone for aerial shots?
Yes — certified pilot, Mavic 3 cinema drone. Aerial shots often open the teaser and complement couple sequences. Subject to venue authorization and weather (wind < 30 km/h).
Can I choose the music for the film?
Yes — you suggest 3-5 tracks you love, we propose an edit that matches the mood. We use legal music licenses (Musicbed, Artlist) so you can publish on YouTube or Vimeo without risk.
What does a wedding cameraman cost?
Cameraman, videographer or wedding filmmaker mean the same job in everyday language, with one nuance: a cameraman shoots, a videographer designs and edits the film. Our wedding video packages start at €1,080, editing included and the film delivered within four weeks. Booked as a duo with photography, the video is -20% and both reportages start at €1,944. The French market ranges from €1,200 to €2,500 depending on coverage length and crew size. A markedly lower rate usually hides editing billed separately or filming without sound mixing.
What does a wedding videographer actually do?
They capture what photography cannot keep: sound. The voice during the vows, the best man's speech, the room laughing, the music of the first dance. In practice they scout the venue, fit discreet microphones on key speakers, film the day without directing it, then edit everything with clean sound mixing. Editing is as much work as filming: it is what turns eight hours of rushes into a five-to-eight-minute clip and a film of over fifteen minutes people watch again.
