Wedding filmmaker in Versailles

Royal town, top-tier weddings in the Versailles setting. Cinematic film, dual 4K cameras, drone, D+5 teaser.

Wedding filmmaker in Versailles, I film your day like a movie — not a recording. The most prestigious town in Île-de-France — direct proximity to the Château. 1h15 from the Oise, 30 min from Paris, I cover the area regularly with my full kit (dual 4K cameras, drone, lavalier mics, gimbals).

Cinema approach: emotional storytelling, rhythmic editing, cinematic colour grading. In Versailles, I adapt to each venue's constraints — dim church lighting, harsh outdoor sun, neon evening. My goal: a film you'll want to rewatch 20 years from now.

Drone capture (DJI Mini 3 Pro) wherever permitted. Aerial shots of the venue, procession, first dance — instant cinematic feel for outdoor settings like those in the area (Château de Versailles, Jardins de Le Nôtre, Trianon).

Deliverables: 1-2 min teaser within 5 days (D+5), 8-15 min long film in 4 to 8 weeks, short version for social sharing on request. Logistics: 1h15 from the Oise, 30 min from Paris. Photo + video duo coverage with my team available.

The signature venue

Versailles holds a French rarity for wedding film: a UNESCO World Heritage château, the Madame Élisabeth estate, the Trianon Palace and a city of opera with a royal perspective that gives couple sequences a signature impossible to reproduce elsewhere. The park's public side is open and allows shoots without prior authorisation. 30 minutes from central Paris via the N13 or A13.

Weddings we covered in the area

Seen and lived in Versailles

Lise & Alexandre Hôtel de Ville de Versailles · February 2024

Lise and Alexandre's wedding in February 2024 at the Versailles town hall. 20-minute ceremony filmed with 3 cameras (two Sony A7 IV + one Ronin), HF mics on officiant and the couple. In winter, the town hall's natural light allows filming without additional LEDs — clean narrative quality gain in the final film.

Thomas & Ludivine — séance after-wedding Château de Versailles (parc public) · June 2025

Filmed after-wedding session for Thomas and Ludivine at the Château de Versailles park side, paired with an extended day in Deauville the following week. Without wedding-day pressure, we edit a mini 4-minute film in calibrated long takes — a formula we now offer to couples wanting a cinematic deliverable without ceremony fatigue.

Frequently asked questions

What's the delivery time for the final film?

60-90s teaser within 5 days for quick sharing with guests. Full 10-15 minute film: 4 to 8 weeks depending on season and edit complexity. You're notified at each stage.

Can you do photo and video on the same day?

Yes — it's actually our most requested package. Either as a duo (photographer + videographer on site) for visual consistency, or solo with mixed coverage depending on the event scope.

How much does a wedding video cost?

Packages start at €1,080 for a half-day (ceremony + couple + cocktail). Count €1,800-2,800 for a full day with teaser + film. Custom quote based on your brief and venue.

Can we see recent films before booking?

Of course — a portfolio with 3-4 full films matching your style (cinema, artistic, classic) is sent. You can also browse our Vimeo and reviews (96 testimonials on Google).

How do you capture sound so the vows are clear?

Three parallel audio sources: wireless lavalier on the groom, second handheld wireless for the officiant, and a standalone Zoom recorder as backup. Audio quality is as carefully treated as the image — non-negotiable.
