Renaissance château, racecourse, English-style park designed by Le Nôtre, Grandes Écuries — Chantilly is the Oise's most prestigious setting and one of Île-de-France's most sought-after for an upscale wedding. Wedding photographer and filmmaker in Chantilly, I have covered celebrations for 10+ years, from the château to the Domaine de Chantilly, from secular ceremonies in the forest to gala dinners at Auberge du Jeu de Paume. Artistic approach with a cinematic eye, photo + video duo option, day-before presence included. 20 min from Senlis, 45 min from Paris.

Approach: auteur photography with a cinematic eye, film in motion rather than posed shots. In Chantilly and its triangle (Gouvieux, Lamorlaye, Vineuil-Saint-Firmin), I cover full weddings every season: civil ceremony at the town hall, outdoor celebration in a château park, cocktail facing the Racecourse stands, dinner under the glass roof of the Château de la Tour. Posed portraits at golden hour, the rest captured candidly.
What actually happened at these venues over recent seasons: Wendy and Daniel's black-and-white wedding at the Château de Lamorlaye in September 2025, eleven bridesmaids in black gowns on the steps and the dip kiss in the grand staircase. Lola and Lylian at the Château de La Tour in Gouvieux in late August 2025, getting ready in the toile-de-Jouy bedrooms and a lifted kiss on the great lawns. Manon and Kevin at the Racecourse in May 2024, portraits on the turf facing the Belle Époque stands after the ceremony at Chantilly's church with its blue stained glass. And as early as 2021, Amel and Lawrence at the Château de Montvillargène, now Château de Jeanne, a Franco-British wedding where I switched languages between guests from England.
I also know the area's backstage: Gouvieux town hall and its great gilded mirror (Marina and Christophe went through it in June 2025 before their reception at the Château d'Auvilliers, with a photo detour by the Dame Blanche ponds), the Chantilly forest and its birches at golden hour where I took Alyson and Vincent back in their wedding outfits for a day-after session, the alleys of Senlis 20 minutes away. Multi-site weddings are very common here: I am used to transfers between church, town hall and estate, with no extra fees across the Chantilly, Gouvieux, Lamorlaye, Apremont, Coye-la-Forêt and Mortefontaine triangle.
Photo + video duo: solo or duo with my regular collaborator for full coverage with zero interference (no overlapping framing, no double-light glare, synchronized delivery). The duo option represents 60% of my Chantilly weddings since 2023 — demand is surging on estates with parkland.
Delivery & logistics: private online gallery within 1 month (300-600 retouched photos), 3 to 7-minute video teaser delivered within 1 month, long version up to 1h on request. Fine art prints, wedding album and wooden USB as options. Day-before presence available on request.
Chantilly concentrates a French rarity for couple portraits: Renaissance château, 18th-century Grandes Écuries (the largest in Europe), English park designed by Le Nôtre, Belle Époque racecourse, Auberge du Jeu de Paume Relais & Châteaux, Domaine de Chantilly managed by the Institut de France. This density allows covering a full wedding day without long transfers — preparations, ceremony, cocktail and dinner within a 5 km radius. 20 minutes from Senlis, 45 minutes from Paris-Gare-du-Nord via RER D.
Seen and lived in Chantilly
Manon and Kevin's wedding at the Chantilly Racecourse in May 2024 — one of the few French venues combining English lawn, Belle Époque stands and a direct view onto the Château. Couple portraits were shot at golden hour along the paddock, with light dropping at 60° onto the white stands. For photographers, the Racecourse offers a framing width no classic château can match — you can work couples in wide shots without compromising the backdrop.
Lola and Lyllian's wedding in August 2024 — portrait session in the Auberge du Jeu de Paume tower, with backlight sculpting the profiles. The Château from the Grand Canal side then serves as backdrop for the couple shoot: dusk reflections on water, two metres of margin for full-body framing. The signature of premium Chantilly photos plays out in those 30 minutes at dusk.
Jade and Anthony's wedding in September 2024 at the Mont Royal Chantilly. The large terrace on the park side offers a clear view for portraits — no building in the reverse field, hence full freedom on angles. We set the couple session at the end of the cocktail, before sunset, to use the soft light on the 18th-century façade.
Margaux and Ayman's wedding at the Château d'Auvilliers, 20 minutes from Chantilly. The château offers a south-facing façade rare in the area, perfect for morning portraits. Secular ceremony in the park, dinner under glass, couple photos at golden hour on the main staircase — a path we know to the metre after several weddings covered in this estate.
Wendy and Daniel's black-and-white wedding at the Château de Lamorlaye: black tuxedos and bow ties for the men, eleven bridesmaids in long black gowns around Wendy's white dress. Against the classical façade and the September lawns, this graphic choice produced striking images without any staging. Their cover photo, the dip kiss in the grand staircase, remains one of my favourite images of the area.
A Franco-British wedding at the Château de Montvillargène, now Château de Jeanne, in Gouvieux: half the guests came from England and I switched languages all day. Grand stone staircase descent, first look by the park balustrade, and a croquembouche under sparkler fountains above the champagne cascade, on the Hungarian-point parquet of the lounges.
Marina and Christophe said yes at Gouvieux town hall, in front of its great gilded mirror I know well, before a photo detour by the Dame Blanche ponds and the reception at the Château d'Auvilliers. Christophe was not comfortable in front of the camera: we worked from a distance, without directing, and the fireworks behind the château shortly after midnight closed the day.
Their wedding day had flown by, so we brought the dress and suit back out for a day-after session in the Chantilly forest: a fallen trunk as a bench, the stump above the pond, and the birches at golden hour. The forest is an open-air studio ten minutes from the centre, and I suggest it to every couple in the area who wants images without the wedding-day clock.
★★★★★Jean-Baptiste captured what no one else had noticed — our parents' looks, my father's hand on my shoulder right before walking down the aisle, my mother's laugh during the speech. That is exactly what you secretly hope for from a photographer without daring to ask. Album received in less than a month, quality beyond expectations.

Mariage Faustine & Corentin - 27/09/2024.

Frequently asked questions
Do you work as a duo with a videographer?
Yes — it's our most complete package. Photo + video on the same day with tight coordination so neither team blocks the other. You leave with two coherent deliverables.
How long until we receive the photos?
30-photo preview gallery within 5 days, full retouched delivery in 4 to 8 weeks depending on the season. An email update notifies you at each stage.
Are you a full-time photographer?
Yes — 10 years of experience exclusively in weddings and events. Cassandra handles bookings and communication, Jean-Baptiste shoots, Mounir and Peter join for duo coverage.
Do you shoot film or all digital?
All digital with two Sony A7 full-frame bodies. Color consistency, delivery speed and low-light quality (indoor ceremonies, evening parties) demand digital. Film-look aesthetic available in post-production if you prefer.
How do you behave during the ceremony?
Discreetly and silently — cameras in electronic shutter mode (no sound), movement only at key moments (entrance, exit, ring exchange). No flash, no interruption.
