The signature venue
Amiens is the Picard capital of premium weddings: the Notre-Dame d'Amiens cathedral, the largest Gothic cathedral in France and UNESCO World Heritage, dominates the city. The Hortillonnages, floating gardens unique in Europe, offer a couple portraits setting without French equivalent. Reception-side, the Roye-sur-Matz / Albert / Doullens area concentrates a dozen châteaux and estates within 50 minutes of the centre. 45 minutes from Beauvais via the A16.

Seen and lived in Amiens
Joséphine and Armand's wedding in September 2022 in the Amiens area (Soues). Religious silver package, JB on photo, Sylvain on video. No preparations — everything starts at the meeting moment, particular care to the parents (explicit couple instruction: avoid low-angle shots). When a couple directs the photographer's eye toward the generations around them more than themselves, the album reaches a dimension no standard brief can produce.
Thomas and Inès's wedding in August 2025: preparations and reception at the Château des Granges in Roye-sur-Matz, then 50-minute drive to Amiens for the religious ceremony at Saint-Martin church. Full-day photo coverage by Peter, 250 cocktail guests — one of the largest volumes we cover in the Somme. The groom especially wanted his car featured on the church forecourt: dedicated post at the church exit and a second at the cocktail arrival.

Yes — 10 years of experience exclusively in weddings and events. Cassandra handles bookings and communication, Jean-Baptiste shoots, Mounir and Peter join for duo coverage.
Do you shoot film or all digital?
All digital with two Sony A7 full-frame bodies. Color consistency, delivery speed and low-light quality (indoor ceremonies, evening parties) demand digital. Film-look aesthetic available in post-production if you prefer.
Do you do an engagement session before the wedding?
Yes — optional 1.5h session in a location chosen with you (urban exterior, nature, meaningful place). It's a chance to get used to the camera so the wedding day feels more natural.
Can we see a full wedding?
Yes — private gallery of a recent wedding (with the couple's permission) is sent so you can see the look across a full day, not just Instagram images. It's important to project yourself.
How long until we receive the photos?
30-photo preview gallery within 5 days, full retouched delivery in 4 to 8 weeks depending on the season. An email update notifies you at each stage.
