Approach: auteur photography with a cinematic eye, film in motion rather than posed shots. In Yvelines, I adapt to each wedding's rhythm — civil ceremony at the town hall, religious at Cathédrale Saint-Louis in Versailles or Maisons-Laffitte church, secular in the Trianon gardens or deep in Rambouillet forest, gala dinner in a private estate.

Beyond the famous names, I cover the whole western Yvelines, more countryside: Le Perray-en-Yvelines and Les Essarts-le-Roi on the edge of the Rambouillet forest, La Queue-les-Yvelines, Gambais and Montfort-l'Amaury on the Montfort plain, Houdan and Ablis at the gateway to the Beauce. Estates, renovated barns and family properties host nature-driven weddings far from Versailles pomp, a setting I particularly enjoy photographing.
For receptions, I regularly work with Domaine de Madame Élisabeth, Château de Vauboyen, Domaine de Saint-Paul, Château de Bures, Manoir de la Salle, Château de Béhoust, and several private estates in the Chevreuse Valley and Versailles plain. I know their rooms, lights, constraints (privatization, end times, fireworks restrictions).
Photo + video duo: solo or duo with my regular collaborator for full coverage with zero interference — no overlapping framing, no double-light glare, synchronized delivery. The duo option covers at least 21% of my wedding days since 2019, and it suits the parkland estates of the Yvelines, where both mediums shine.

Seen and lived in the Yvelines
Anthony came to find us as I was getting back into my car after another wedding, to ask us to cover his. So on 8 June 2024, after the town hall in Montesson, Sylvain and Mounir were at the Domaine des Fontenelles in Les Mesnuls, on photo and video: a lavishly flowered estate, a lake, and a white gazebo on a jetty that gives portraits of their own. An outdoor secular ceremony, a candle ritual, generous floral design. It is the kind of place where coming as a pair pays off: there are more beautiful corners than one pair of eyes can follow.
A winter wedding at Versailles town hall, in February 2024: a twenty-minute ceremony mid-morning, then couple and group photos inside the town hall, with the Sceaux car park right next door so nobody had to rush. The lesson holds for the whole department: in winter the sun stays low all day, the light is softer and places are calmer than in June. Many couples aim for summer by reflex, when a winter civil ceremony like Lise and Alexandre's gives calmer, more composed images.
Charlotte and Alexandre married on 26 July 2025: Alexandre got ready in Gargenville and Charlotte in Mézy-sur-Seine, the couple first saw each other at the church in Gargenville at 2:30 pm, and a few photos on the steps afterwards. I photographed them all day, as far as the Domaine de la Croix Sauvalle, in the Eure, 45 minutes' drive away, where Charlotte arrived on horseback. Photos with the mare, then couple photos while the guests had a drink. A horseback arrival is planned with the venue: the couple came in through the meadow, not the main entrance, so everything could happen calmly.

Are you a full-time photographer?
Yes — 10 years of experience exclusively in weddings and events. Cassandra handles bookings and communication, Jean-Baptiste shoots, Mounir and Peter join for duo coverage.
Do you do an engagement session before the wedding?
Yes — optional 1.5h session in a location chosen with you (urban exterior, nature, meaningful place). It's a chance to get used to the camera so the wedding day feels more natural.
How do you behave during the ceremony?
Discreetly and silently — cameras in electronic shutter mode (no sound), movement only at key moments (entrance, exit, ring exchange). No flash, no interruption.
Do you shoot film or all digital?
All digital with two Sony A7 full-frame bodies. Color consistency, delivery speed and low-light quality (indoor ceremonies, evening parties) demand digital. Film-look aesthetic available in post-production if you prefer.
How long until we receive the photos?
30-photo preview gallery often delivered before the rest, full retouched delivery within four weeks, one month at most in peak season. An email update notifies you at each stage. Express option: everything is delivered in under a week, with the same quality as the one-month delivery. The only difference is top priority given to your wedding. It depends on the calendar (a very busy date may not allow it): ask before signing and you will get a straight answer.
How much does a wedding photographer cost?
In France, the range runs from €1,500 to €3,000 for a full day. Our packages start at €1,080, including the private online gallery, retouched photos and usage rights, and at €1,944 for the photo + video duo. What moves a quote is not the number of photos but the hours of coverage, whether a second shooter is present, and the deliverables: printed album, pre-wedding session, video alongside. Our prices are published on the pricing page, with no mandatory quote step.
Photo session, shoot, engagement session, pre-wedding: what is the difference?
None: they are different words for the same thing. Photo session and shoot are the everyday terms, couple session says what is being photographed, engagement session is the American term and usually happens after the proposal, pre-wedding means before the wedding, post-wedding or day after means once it is done. Behind those five words the service is identical: an hour and a half, just the two of you, in a place you choose, and the same photos at the end. The only real difference is the timing. Before the wedding, the session prepares the day itself. After it, it gives back the time you never had: the dress comes out again, you go where you could not go, you wait for the right light instead of making do with the one you have.
What is a photo session before the wedding actually for?
Three things, in this order. Spending time in front of the camera with nothing at stake, so that on the day you no longer wonder what to do with your hands. Settling together what you like, what you dislike and how close you are comfortable being: it is a visual brief, and it saves discovering your taste during the couple portraits, while the cocktail hour is waiting. And leaving with images you can use right away, for the save the date, the invitations, the welcome sign or your wedding website. In practice the session happens between three months and a year before the date, and couples who have done one arrive relaxed on the morning of the wedding: it shows in the portraits. It is not included in the wedding package, it is priced alongside it, in the same quote.
