Meaux offers a rare combination for a wedding: a 12th-century Gothic cathedral, a complete episcopal city with its palace and formal French garden, and the Marne winding through town. All forty minutes from Paris and under an hour from my studio in the Oise, with no travel fees. It is also the gateway to the Brie estates and the Disneyland area for international weddings.

Saint-Étienne cathedral is one of the largest Gothic buildings in the Paris region, and one of the brightest: the nave takes southern light through much of the afternoon. That is a rare bonus, since most church ceremonies are shot in a gloom you have to compensate for.
The Bossuet garden, laid out in formal parterres in front of the former bishop's palace, provides a structured setting steps from the cathedral. A full couple session gets done without getting back in the car, which counts when the day is already full.
The banks of the Marne change all afternoon. Late in the day the water bounces light back onto faces, giving soft portraits with no extra equipment. I always keep that fallback when a reception venue turns out to be disappointing.
Meaux is the gateway to the Brie estates and the Marne-la-Vallée area. Many weddings combine a ceremony in town with a reception twenty or thirty minutes away: travel times are built into the photo schedule, never added afterwards.
I work without flash in the cathedral and in the churches of the area: liturgical constraints are the same everywhere, and a photographer who respects them can stand where others are not allowed.
Private online gallery within four weeks, teaser in seven to ten days. Photography alone or as a photo and video duo, depending on how your day unfolds.
An episcopal city since the 3rd century, Meaux keeps one of the most complete cathedral complexes in the Paris region: Saint-Étienne cathedral, the bishops' palace and the garden laid out by Le Nôtre for Bossuet, bishop of Meaux from 1681 to 1704. The town is crossed by the loops of the Marne.

Frequently asked questions
Do you print or create a photo book?
Yes — fine-art albums (canvas cover, matte photographic paper, French manufacturing) in 3 formats (20×20, 30×30, 30×45). Delivered with a presentation case. Count 4-6 weeks after layout approval.
How many photos are delivered on average?
Between 600 and 1200 retouched photos depending on coverage duration. All sharp, sorted chronologically, delivered in high resolution via a private downloadable gallery.
What if the weather is bad for portraits?
Indoor backup plan always ready (hotel lobby, side room, lit window). We also love rainy moods for unconventional umbrella portraits. Storm light often produces the most striking images.
How long until we receive the photos?
30-photo preview gallery within 5 days, full retouched delivery in 4 to 8 weeks depending on the season. An email update notifies you at each stage.
How much does a wedding photographer cost?
In France, the range runs from €1,500 to €3,000 for a full day. Our packages start at €1,080, including the private online gallery, retouched photos and usage rights. What moves a quote is not the number of photos but the hours of coverage, whether a second shooter is present, and the deliverables: printed album, pre-wedding session, video alongside. Our prices are published on the pricing page, with no mandatory quote step.
