History of Château Jeanne
Le château de Montvillargenne, aujourd'hui rebaptisé château Jeanne, a été commandé en 1911 par Jeanne de Rothschild, fille de James Édouard de Rothschild et épouse du banquier italien baron Abram Leonino. L'architecte de la famille Rothschild, Léon-Maurice Chatenay, conçoit un style éclectique mêlant colombages néo-normands, fenêtres à l'anglaise et toitures du Wurtemberg. Le paysagiste Charles Masson dessine les terrasses à l'italienne. Après le décès de Jeanne en 1929, le château reste vacant dix ans, puis est occupé pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, devient noviciat des Sœurs du Sacré-Cœur, puis école d'arts et métiers en 1969. Transformé en hôtel de luxe en 1985, il rouvre en 2025 sous le nom Jeanne & the Forest avec 119 chambres et un parc de 6 hectares.

Le Grand Ballroom de 249 m² donne sur le parc à l'italienne. Sur les mariages à forte fréquentation, l'orientation forêt absorbe bien le flux d'invités au cocktail.
Positionner la borne en lisière de forêt pendant le cocktail extérieur : la canopée filtre la lumière de manière homogène toute l'après-midi, sans contre-jour. En soirée, bascule vers le Grand Ballroom ou les salons attenants.

Le croisement des terrasses à l'italienne avec les colombages néo-normands crée des lignes fuyantes asymétriques que peu de châteaux proposent. La roseraie à l'anglaise dessinée par Charles Masson offre un cadre botanique daté et documenté, pas un fond générique.

Our 3 m soft + cream balloon arch fits 90% of château decors. Warm white "Mr & Mrs" LED neon hanging is our château best-seller. Metallic gold confetti (compostable tissue paper, no plastic) validated for old parquet floors and wood paneling.
