Photo booth wedding backdrops: your visual signature
The backdrop is the most-looked-at element in 90% of photo booth pictures. A random fabric ruins the aesthetic: clashing color, busy pattern that eats the faces, material that wrinkles under flashes. Our backdrops are curated from ten years of real weddings — tested in venue lighting, marquee daylight, outdoor canopies and vaulted château cellars.
Three families: matte textured fabric (washed linen, soft velvet, gauze) which softens skin tones; sequin / glitter paper for corporate parties and hen-dos; floral backdrops on free-standing frames on request, built by our Hauts-de-France florist partner. For bohemian weddings in Oise and Picardy, the beige gauze + dried pampa combo works in 8 cases out of 10 — that's what we set up for Stéphanie & Fabien at Château de la Houssoye.
All our backdrops arrive ironed, mounted on free-standing structures, and broken down by our team at the end of the night. No holes drilled in château walls, no pins on listed wood panels — protocol validated with Abbaye de Longpont, Abbaye Royale du Moncel and Château d'Ermenonville. Standard dimensions: 2.4 m × 2 m, enough to shoot 4 guests side by side without cropping shoulders.
Custom wedding balloon arches, giant letters & releases
Balloons are the most-shared wedding decor on Instagram in 2026. A balloon arch behind the photo booth generates on average 3× more stories than the same booth without decor. The catch: you need a real pastel palette (not the gaudy Amazon discount packs that go purple under flash).
Three formats we provide regularly: organic arches 2 to 4 m wide framing the booth (inflated 2h before the event, holds 24h thanks to Hi-Float treatment); giant XL letters (couple initials, anniversary numbers, or 'OUI' / 'YES' in 1.20 m height) in matte mylar (not cheap foil that reflects flashes); balloon columns to frame an evening entrance.
On colors: we work with a wholesaler delivering the day before in custom Pantone shades — including rare hues (terracotta, sage green, dusty blue) that don't exist in general retail. At Domaine de la Muette in Saint-Sulpice, for Mélissa & Mickael's wedding, the pampa + terracotta arch generated over 80 unique Instagram stories in one night. That's the difference between a booth 'nice on Insta' and a booth 'instagram-worthy'.
Custom LED neons & illuminated signs
A custom neon is the accessory that turns a classic booth into a centerpiece. Short phrase (the couple's names, 'Mr & Mrs', 'Better Together', a hashtag), heart shape, or company logo for corporate seminars. We build flexible LED (not gas neon, which is dangerous and expensive) with a 3-week minimum lead time between order and delivery — plan ahead when you sign the booth contract.
Colors available: warm white, cool white, pink, amber, glacier blue, mint green, cherry red. Pastel pink remains the most-requested for weddings (works on all photos), but warm white gives the most flattering cinematic rendering on darker skin tones. At Château Mont-Royal in La Chapelle-en-Serval, the warm-white 'Mr & Mrs' hanging from the ballroom vaults produced one of the most-shared photos of the wedding. 12V low-voltage power (child-safe); chain hanging or ground placement depending on venue.
Bonus: your neon is delivered in a wooden transport case — you keep it for life as decor. Most couples hang it above their bed or in their living room, and tag us on Instagram years later.
Photo booth props: glasses, hats, wigs, signs
The props box is the secret of a booth that takes off. Without accessories, guests take 2-3 serious pictures and walk away. With a real full box, they come back 4 times during the night and bring their friends. We provide a rustic wooden box with 40+ props minimum, curated by theme.
Classic wedding pack: round retro glasses, straw hats, mustaches on sticks, peacock feathers, tulle bridal veils, XXL bow ties, 'Mr', 'Mrs', 'I said yes' signs. Festive pack: colored wigs, glitter glasses, boas, star-shaped glasses, customizable humor signs. Corporate pack: company logo signs, LinkedIn frames, sober brand-tied accessories.
All props are disinfected between events (post-Covid procedure maintained) and items in direct face contact (glasses, wigs) come in duplicates to avoid simultaneous sharing. Box included at no extra cost in every booth pack and 360° Videobooth pack.
Custom wedding photo signs
'Welcome' boards, seating charts, wedding hashtag signs, or personalized phrases have become must-haves. Printed in A1 format on kraft paper or laser-cut wood, they serve both as entrance decor and secondary backdrop for the booth — guests grab them for their pictures.
We offer: hashtag signs ('#lesargyre2026') in gold or matte black lettering, placed next to the booth to remind guests to tag posts; 'Welcome' XL signs for evening entrance; graphic seating plans (provide 3 weeks ahead); and humor signs to hold in front of the face ('Official witness', 'Cousin here for the open bar', 'Single & ready to mingle').
All signs are designed in collaboration with our partner graphic designer (based in Senlis) from your invitation — typography and colors are reused to keep visual consistency between invitation and day-of decor.
Confetti cannons & visual explosions for spectacular photos
A confetti explosion behind the newlyweds turns a classic picture into a viral image. Out of 100 weddings shot in the last 5 years, confetti shots are consistently in the top 3 most-shared photos by couples on their social media. We provide manual confetti cannons (fired by guests or by us at the right moment) and automatic confetti machines for evening entrances.
Three formats: biodegradable confetti (compostable tissue paper, outdoor eco-friendly weddings); metallic gold and silver confetti (maximum shine effect, indoor festive parties); dried rose petals (bohemian weddings, ceremony under arch).
Safety: none of our confetti contains plastic, mylar or chemicals. All validated for indoor use in châteaux and old-parquet venues (safe for wood panels). At Abbaye de Longpont for Mélanie & Jean, and at Château de la Trye in Bailleul-sur-Thérain, we used dried rose petals indoors without any venue restriction. And yes — we clean up after, included in the service.
Low-altitude heavy smoke machine: cinema effect on the dance floor
The heavy low-altitude smoke machine (a.k.a. DryIce) creates a cloud that stays on the ground rather than rising to the ceiling. Visual guaranteed for the couple's first dance: they appear to float on a cloud. One of the most-requested accessories since 2024 — yet 80% of booth providers don't offer it because the machine is expensive to buy.
Our machine runs on dry ice (solid CO₂) — not smoke fluid which stains dresses and triggers fire detectors. It produces 3 to 5 minutes of dense smoke per 1 kg of ice, ideal for a full first dance. We provide the ice and the operator (mandatory for safety — CO₂ handled with insulated gloves).
Rental conditions: compatible with 99% of venues if good ventilation exists (to validate with your venue beforehand). At Domaine de Chantilly and Château d'Auvilliers, validation was done in under 48h thanks to experienced venue managers. Conversely, some fully closed vaulted cellars (tested at Château de Pontarmé) or closed marquees without airflow impose alternatives. We do the checks with your venue before signing.
Photo guestbook: keep your booth prints in a premium album
The photo guestbook automatically collects every booth print and organizes them in a premium album that will stay in your library for the next 50 years. While guests have fun at the booth, they stick their print in the album and write a note next to it. By end of night, you walk away with a unique object combining 200-300 pictures + as many handwritten messages.
Our guestbook is artisan-built by a Hauts-de-France bookbinder: aged leather or burgundy velvet cover, 250g recycled paper, 80 pages in A4 landscape. Included in mid and large booth packs. We provide alongside a basket of metal pens, theme-matched stickers, and a guest takeaway (mini-print to take home).

Frequently asked questions
Are accessories included in the booth price?
Yes for essentials (props box, standard backdrop, hashtag sign) — included at no extra cost in every booth and 360° Videobooth pack. Premium accessories (custom neon, heavy smoke machine, leather photo guestbook, custom balloon arch) are paid options listed in the quote.
Can I rent accessories without the booth?
No — our accessories are designed to integrate with an event where we provide the equipment on site. For rental-only without our service, we redirect to local partners.
How long in advance should I order a custom neon?
Three weeks minimum between your design validation and delivery. For May-October weddings, ideally book at booth contract signature — otherwise we offer in-stock neons from our pre-defined collection.
Are your confetti accepted by châteaux and listed venues?
Yes — we exclusively use biodegradable tissue paper confetti and dried rose petals. No plastic, no mylar. Post-event cleanup included in the service, no extra fee.
Does the heavy smoke machine work in every venue?
In 90% of venues, yes — it requires good ventilation and a compatible fire detector (delayed inhibitor). We always validate with your venue two weeks before the event. If incompatible, we offer an alternative: light fog machine or XXL soap bubbles.
