A wedding we lived through at Château des Granges
Sylvia et Sébastien, avril 2023 — couverture photo + vidéo au Château des Granges. Cérémonie laïque dans le parc, vin d'honneur en extérieur, ouverture de bal et cascade de champagne. La borne installée en intérieur a tenu toute la nuit avec tirages illimités jusqu'au dessert. C'est aussi le mariage d'Emeline & Marc en 2021 (Mounir) et d'Elodie Cavalier & Nicolas en 2022 (JB).

La grange du XIXe siècle réaménagée, avec sa charpente apparente en bois sombre face à la façade Napoléon III, crée un contraste de styles sur un même axe de prise de vue. Le parc de 4 hectares offre des perspectives longues avec la façade en fond, sans ligne électrique dans le cadre.

En milieu d'après-midi, la façade Napoléon III orientée plein sud reçoit une lumière frontale qui détaille les moulures sans ombre parasite. Les paons en liberté dans le parc constituent un fond animé et inattendu pour les photos de groupe en extérieur.
History of Château des Granges
Au XIIe siècle, le domaine des Granges à Roye-sur-Matz appartient à l'abbaye Saint-Corneille de Compiègne et sert de grange abbatiale pour la dîme des territoires locaux. Au XVIIe siècle, il est cédé à l'abbaye du Val-de-Grâce jusqu'à la Révolution, où la propriété est vendue comme bien national. Le château actuel est reconstruit dans le style Napoléon III entre 1864 et 1874 pour Louis Marc Antoine Bonnel, premier maire de Roye-sur-Matz. La famille Pillon, qui lui succède, occupe les lieux durant quatre générations de maires. Le parc arboré s'étend sur 4 hectares ; une grange du XIXe siècle a été réaménagée en salle de réception.
