La façade à pans de bois normands (colombages noirs sur fond blanc) donne un arrière-plan graphique fort et typé Vexin normand, rare dans les salles de réception de l'Eure. Le marronnier centenaire du jardin offre un cadre naturel délimité sans fond de ciel surexposé.

La salle principale en colombages reçoit une lumière homogène en matinée côté est. Le photo tout se place idéalement sous le marronnier du jardin pendant le cocktail, entre 16h et 18h en été : ombre portée nette et fond végétal structuré.

Le domaine de la Croix Sauvalle est implanté à Forêt-la-Folie, dans le Vexin normand (Eure, 27), à 75 km de Paris et 50 km de Rouen. La salle de réception principale occupe une maison de construction normande à pans de bois (colombages) de 200 m², entourée d'un parc clôturé. Le domaine dispose d'une grange et d'une écurie en complément. Les gestionnaires actuels sont Laetitia et Manuel, qui ont développé une offre mariage incluant 25 couchages sur place. L'adossement à l'église Saint-Sulpice (accessible à pied) constitue l'une des particularités documentées du site.
